Sighs of the night...

Sigh..Everyone is moving on ain't it ? To be honest, I've never pictured myself studying in Dubai for college or university.This feeling comes frequently, I'm not contented.
Ever since little, I've always dreamt of going abroad and studying, in 12th I was all set, my mind was focused and aimed at going to Canada to do my animation, life really doesn't turn out the way its supposed to right ?

I know there are people who are gone to India and they keep ranting, I pity them, they don't kinda like it there because of either the place or the facilities and I'm here in Dubai of all places, I get a house to live in, food, water, shelter, bed, wifi, everything...but that's exactly what I didn't want. I wanted to live a 'College' life in a dorm with a room-mate.That's always what Ive dreamt of.

Its not like the College sucks, or the people or campus facilities suck, its just this feeling I get, I see people moving on abroad and it does make me little jealous to be honest. My whole 12th Ive been planning to go abroad and in the end I ended up here. Sometimes I get the thought that I would be here for life, its really scary. I dont want to be in a place like this at all ! I am an artist and I dont deserve to be here. Seriously, I think Dubai is the place only for business purposes, all the art stuff that goes around is done by some Rich ass kid who has enough money to put on an exhibition and HIS stuff gets appreciated.

In order for this place to be an artist hub, first thing we need is a ART RECOGNITION CLUB where we can express all types of ideas and creations and where we could meet all types of aspiring artists.

Secondly, If you are an artist, you cannot be bound by RELIGION, CULTURE OR SOCIAL NORMS...I don't mean that you should be something like an Anarchist or some wierdo, I mean embrace your culture and embrace other cultures too, if your are doing art, go out of the box, out of religious barriers, out of cultural and social barriers.

I'm really kinda pissed off at myself for not making my life go according to plan.
This feeling is gonna grab me for some time now, hopefully meeting my friends this Christmas Break will make it go away.

Well, I cant say or do anything about it. All I can do is study and get my degree ! AND GET THE HECK OUTTA HERE ( move to America or Canada ).

Yes ! Ive been away from my laptop for 3 days now, I do think about my blog at times !! Dont get pissed you moron....

So what was I doing all this time, assignments, jamming, swimming, sleepover and 5 hours of 'That 70s show !' !! Ill keep this blog updated ! Im not abandoning it ! :D

Cant wait for the freaking holiday break nextweek ! I come to Kuwait on 16th morning....the first thing I do is visit the rocks ! and yes ofcourse, CLICK PICTURES !!!

Oh yes ! I'm alive, finally got time for my blog again :D !
Its really crappy though, Ive been thinking of updating the blog but every now and then some bullshit work, play, assignment keeps popping up or I just feel plain lazy...

Anywho, yeah, we got Eid holidays on, not too interesting for me though, its fucking boring !
So what did I do when it was boring ? Well, not much but I did some 3D work and animation / play games..But yes ! I'm getting my beauty sleep, so I'm friggin happy !

I'm quite happy with how it came out, although I'll be modifying this every now and then just to make it look better :)!

Well yeah, thats pretty much how I did it, the modelling work took long but the animation on 3Ds max was quite basic/easy.I'm happy I've gone this far, will be posting up stuff soon.
I have to practice some drawing, its been long since I did any pencil work =/....

Ha! as the title suggests...It rained today and what does that mean ? Well...nothing awesome anways..its just that I'm seeing rain in Dubai for the first time. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these showers...

Oh yeah ! 3D assignment due...I love 3d but the assignments and crazy, I mean 1 of them, which is modeling your own mobile phone. Its due tomorrow so hopefully I finish it by then. I was doing my mobile phone in the 'Quiet Room' and then I just dozed off for like 30 mins. Got up and then noticed the rain.

Remembering the school days gets me down sometimes, and the silly crushes I used to have....Sigh ! We could do silly things and get away with it, carefree with no big responsibilities.
Everyone is grown up now, looking good, looking smart, its good meeting them after a long time (although the last time i saw them was 6 months ago), it really feels like a long time.

Crash and Burn parties ! Hopefully, I can plan one out this Christmas or a BBQ and also rendezvous with 'The Rocks'...
('The Rocks' is a place near the beach overlooking a beautiful sunset of Kuwait, its a very calm and soothing place to be, especially in winters late at nights either alone or with friends..You can just stare into the sea and think about stuff, have peace and quiet away from the bullshit. If you are in Kuwait and never heard of 'The Rocks', its @ Marina waves..)

Sigh....We'll...I can't to get back to Kuwait this December.

Days are really hectic and tiring..Assignments here and there, just too much at once.
Today I found myself asleep or sleeping at a local cafe/ restaurant, thats just how tired I was...

Well, I guess its all part of being an animator, sleepless nights and tired sensations.All I want in the end to affect not the world in what I do, but atleast some people...As long as what I do, affects somebody or something in a good way...Thats all what I want.

I'll be posting 3D stuff up soon, yeah..I tend to forget I have blog sometimes, but good thing I have it on my sidebar, so I just have to like, go to the site and update..

Well. it was just a vfx movie....which infact was quite amazing....but I'm still waiting for 'Avatar', I heard they got some darn FREAKING AWESOME VFX too !! :D But other than that....ok.
There were people who thought it was "FAAACKING AMAZING YAR" and other who were like " I THOUGHT WE DIE !! WHY DIDNT WE DIE ???? " @_@....oh kaaay.....

Good morning and YES ! I'm still fucking alive thank you :D ! I had a kinda awesome weekend..
So, nice though ! Today I had to wake up to snow :) !!!....NOT !! Just normal 'mist' but this 'mist' was much different from the Kuwaiti mist...I could actually notice white fog like things floating across the road and stuff...really awesome ! I wanna see more of this soon :) !

Reminds me a bit of Silent Hill, how I wish to be in a place where u have constant ash falling like snowflakes lol !


So where was I this full week or gap between blog posts?? I'm here, not dead !!
I usually take weekends to myself and yes! that means NO BLOGGING during weekends althought I do I have the occasional "ZOMG WTF" blog if I happen to see something really interesting or ever DID something interesting...

Oh yeah! I did bit of messing about with 3Ds Max 2010, really awesome...really TIRING but whatever...I managed to finished a building and here it is..

Its not something im like "ooh or aah " about because I've used a heck loads of polygons.
I took like about 13000 polygons while industry people would take about 300-400 just to make it.

Still gotta work on it....

Sorry guys, lol....I've been quite exhausted by last trimester's assignments and stuff so I just decided to take the weekend off from blogging or gaming and such...

I dont want to bore you with my story on what I did over the weekend but I'll make it short and sweet.

1)Watched "This is it"

2)Helped a friend 'PIMP' his PC !!

Yeah, we looked around 'Al-Ain Computer Centre' @ Bur dubai and ended up spending DHS 1100 for an 'Nvidia GTX 260' + 'GIGABYTE 730Mwt Power supply unit'.....Now, he's blazin with it.

3)Helped with a studio recording

I basically had to add bass lines and some guitar solos or fils here and there... :D

4)Formatted my mac..

Yes ! I formatted my mac and pc. Thanks to my 1TB harddisk, I could back up everything :D !

5)World of Warcraft..

I'm addicted now ! I have a death knight character lvl55 and a Night elf warrior lvl 61 :D !!

6)Started 2nd Trimester...

Something tells me I'm gonna enjoy this trimester...

The dark lass or so they call her,
Her face so white as snow,

What a freaking tiring day, not to mention its the end of my trimester and I have one remaining assignment due, hopefully I take care of that on time =/.

Other than that, well its all going ok...One of my best friends just dropped outta college, it just took me by surprise ! I'm gonna miss seeing her around ='[ !!
Gah!, I still remember the first day I met her, total game freak all excited about animation =).Sigh.

Whats this 'Love' thing, I don't know if I'll ever be able to figure it out, I haven't been lucky with it, but I already feel it, there are so many people I LOVE SOO MUCH that I'd do anything !

Why does it happen that the best person for you is taken by somebody else, and the twisted part is, that person loves u a lot more back but you aren't in a position to love her back because of the ' taken ' factor ! I really can't get the hole we get stuck in***

I always had my heart at my sleeves, my heart was too easy to kill, and I hated that!!
It's crazy, whenever I asked out, it was either 'Not interested for a relationship' or 'I wish I could but I already have a boyfriend =['...

Whatever man, I hope things turn out good, its so crazy, I know being single is the best feeling or thing but singles also get occasionally very depressed because of staying alone.

There are people who love me a lot, I love them too but I know I wouldn't want to date them because I would end up breaking their heart and that is something I do NOT want to do !! I know they love me but whats the use if I don't feel the same way about them ???
I don't want to just start a false relationship...But they will still remain my friends and I'll love them forever !!

Bah ! Another tiring day, ok...not so tiring.But yeah ! I had fun today, quite a lot.
Wasn't any class today, so I spent to whole day loafing around the college and then I did some jazz bass with Aditi and her student.

My first time I've ever been to GITEX and the shit is awesome !!! For those of you that dont know, GITEX is this huge technology expo where stuff is sold for REAL CHEAP.There were lots of people around, I freaking got lost for a bit but then I figured it out. Sales and promotions here and there, and lots of really cheap tech stuff....I might go tomorrow again..Here are few pictures :



It was kind wierd seeing ' DAIKATANA ' on the freaking rack, it also had a Windows Vista seal too ? I thought the game was done for ! How did this happen ?


For those of you who dont know, ' DAIKATANA ' was the work of one of the creators of doom, John Romero. He was praised as the most awesome game developer back at the time of doom but he lost that title when he made ' DAIKATANA ', which was one of the worst games in the world ! It was also rated by many other sites as ' Worst Game '.


Well, anyways ! Tomorrow I have a ' My Day' time alone at home ! Play guitar and stuff is for me tomorrow !

Solitary ??

So here I am, blogging after finally handing in my 'Electronic Collage' assignment which caused me immense stress and the feeling is really great....I did some 'Zietgiest' looking thing with a man in the centre and blah blah blah !

So whats today's topic ? What do you want me ranting about this time ? lol

Ever heard people say "Omg ? Why do u listen to music so much ? Why do you have your headphone on you ? you're isolating yourself from society !" and I say ? "FUCK OFF"..

Yes, its the sad truth, it does cause social isolation but I love the feeling....not of social isolation but of isolation from madness around me. After a hard days work or project, who wouldnt want to sit with their tea or take a walk with their headphones on ? I love that 'peace of mind' feeling that gets to you. I think headphones are a blessing ! and they also have a + point,they keep your long hair back cool :) !
I like the isolation part, I know it sucks but I love it a lot...

Yeah so anyways thats that for now lol....

Crazy day ???

Good morning...Bwaaa I was off to a bbq partay in the evening...So I did a little CAM WHORING while in the Metro ! Bwahahahha !!!


I had a fun day today...or yesterday night? Whatever...I had a fun day @ Zabeel Park ? Its somewhere near the trade center thingy, God ! I gotta learn the locations proper...Anyways ! I went with 3 friends, weathing was awesome, the place had a nice feel to it too...

So, Im back

Yeah !! Im back and NO! Im not fucking formatting the blog.Im gonna use the same template and same everything....I'll be updating the blog atleast every week =) !! So yeah !! Welcome back myself.

So, what I am doing now ?

I'm in Dubai, land of god knows what...bullshit ? money ? crazy cars ? awesome people ? Its everything packed in one place xD !

Im currently in college ( SAE Institute )....I like to call it a 'College' cuz it 'FEELS' like that to me..Yeah we dont have a sports team or anything so, hmm..Whatever!! But college still rocks !!
Made so many new FUCKING AWESOME friends !! Tried 'new shit' and gonna try more new shit soon...hehehheh.....

The Metro is on in Dubai, I have to say its pretty decent COMPARED TO THE FUCKING BUSSES ARRGG!!! but yeah the Metro is awesome, getting to a place from the metro sucks ass unless you got one of em feeder busses..I spend like 20 dhs per day just to travel to college, thats why im trying to get a license!!! Hopefully I get one!

People have lotsa money to throw, they deserve the throwing cuz ....DOH...they are royals !! Check out this fucking car ive never ever seen in my life but it looks totally out of this world, a world class design ! I was awestruck !!! Enjoy...
