100th Blog Post..

Wow, Just completed 100 blogposts since 2007.

Yay ! I feel I achieved something !! :D
Its awesome, I started off with a tech advice for a game and ended up with me getting a Dino teddy, lol !

I guess, its really easy keeping a blog rather than a whole website. I've tried websites before, but they eventually ended up being abandoned due to some other interesting event.

So, finally, something I stuck on to. Hopefully, I get more hits and stuff or this turns into something big (*fingers crossed*).

I made this blog with an aim to support people with their tech problems, but it soon turned out to be not just tech. I realized blogs weren't just places to shoot out tech advice but they were rather diaries that could keep records of your past and let in other people's views..

Even though the blog's address states 'n3t-ninja' , It's called 'Howling Ghoul' and there are many factors that effected the name change.

Due to my insomniac nature, I never slept on time. And being in the middle east, the night is not always silent. Its broken a bit with the 4 am prayers. The title of the blog comes from my 'Insomniac-ness" at night and my perception of the muslim priests at the night prayers ( I don't mean any offense to my muslim friends).

When I was a kid, I used to get scared of the prayers at night, thinking of them as ghosts howling, I used to quickly tuck under my blanket and shut my eyes tight, hoping the process of sleep would accelerate. How silly of me.

It also comes from gray wolves, of which I'm so fond of. Maybe its this whole love relation I have with the night and all aspects of it. To be honest, I really love the nights mainly because of the tranquility and the peaceful setting. I love doing my works, blogs, animation, etc. at nights !

As for now I'll do my best to keep blogging till eternity,

Well, today ( YESTERDAY ) was the first time I've ever attended some grand party( Hotel / Hall ) thing in Dubai. It was ok, I'm not really a fan of big hall parties or such, but it was a good break from the usual >_< !! 

What else ? I'm growing old >_< ! Yes ! OLD !
I'm gonna be turning 20, I must be the most spoilt 19 year old on earth, I don't do shit and I don't even have a job. Gosh, I gotta be writing my resolution or whatnot. Omg, one more year after this for 21 ! IT SUCKS !!! OMFG >_< !

Why can't I go back to school days, reverse time ? I really want to. Looks like I'll just have to live with it. sigh..

These past 19 years have given me lot of surprises, good ones, bad ones, sad ones..I guess there are lessons that life teaches you.
There are a lot of lessons I have learnt recently.

I need to get me a part time job and a drivers license this year !!! and I'm gonna do it !

Its the usual though, I always get disgusted with my birthdays, I don't do shit on my birthdays anyways..Its always been that one day, the usual cake cutting and perhaps guests at home, while I sit with them and give them my fake expressions of being interested in them.

I'm just planning on running away to jumeira beach and spending the night there alone on my birthday, calm and quiet and then again FUCKING HUMIDITY.... Kuwait !!! I miss you T_T !!

So yeah, I'm going to finish the hazelnut choco milk shake now and go off to sleep......

Today, my girlfriend is leaving on a flight from Kolkata to Pune (@4:00 am) , which I guess would probably take 3 hours roughly...
And I must say, I have some sort of paranoia, and if you read some of my previous posts, you'd know why.

I guess I'll be checking on her flight every minute, she's supposed to call me about now, sigh....

I'll just hope for the best, STUPID PARANOIA !!

I find my self on my bed praying to some higher supernatural being to keep her safe, hope he/she listens !

Yes, as the title says....F%#KING Whew man !!! No I don't mean 'Woman', whatever, you get it...

These past weeks have been so hectic, there were times where I wanted to quit being an animator or just shoot myself. But then again, I have only myself to blame.

How did I get screwed up at the end ?

' P R O C A S T I N A T E ' my freaking work till the end, but at the same time I must say that I've learnt a LOT ! I really mean, A LOT ! from working at last minutes. Your adrenaline is pumped and your brain just sucks in all information at the last minute. So for that last day, you have all sorts of idea's up your head and less time. This was one of the challenges I faced while doing my assignments. But yeah pretty cool stuff, I learnt new things and methods of doing animations.

A lesson learnt for me though, but, hehe, I know I'll forget all about it until the next BIG ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION DATE arrives. But for now, I'll just brush this off my mind. Although right now I got lots of ideas just swimming on my mind.

Now I have 10 days to spend, no tensions, no worries, I can finally get my rest, thank god.

Todays thursday and I just spent some time cleaning up my table, I removed all things relating to assignments...All I have on my table is/are my ipod, lamp, mobile, MacBook Pro and my mouse...

How do I plan on spending my 10 days ?

SLACKING OF COURSE ! After spending sleepless nights, I have the right to slack the f*#k off !

Maybe play some games and strum a few strings here and there, and keep this blog updated and lots of other stuff...Like checking out the Public library which, btw , really has some interesting books in them.

Other than that, nothing else, totally exhausted. I think I'll go take a shower now and wash away all my stress.

A Mac-aroni and Cheese please !

So, you got a Mac eh ?

Now what ? First time ?

Yeah, it does feel cool and stuff but if you're a first time user.....its totally blah !

So here are few commands and stuff you GOTTA to learn on your new mac...

• In windows you have something called Ctrl + Alt + Delete but in mac, its cmd + alt + escape.
• Cmd + c = Copy
• Cmd + v = Paste
• Cmd + Q = to quit the program completely.
• Cmd + W = Quit the window.
• Cmd + Shift + 4 = Lets you take a snap shot of a selected area ( you gotta drag your mouse around to get the selection ).
• Cmd + Shift + 3 = Takes a screen shot of the entire screen.
• Shift + Cmd + Backspace ( <--- ) = Empty Recycle Bin.

To find out other short keys, just click on Finder and then like go to the menus on top...and you'll find the short keys right there next to each selection.

There are is a lot you can do with your DASHBOARD ( f4 )...Its like how the gadgets are to a Windows 7 / Windows Vista Desktop.

I don't have much to blog about today but here goes...

My girlfriend is getting snake bites, which is ok but its INDIA ! I'm a little concerned..I hope she knows what she's doing and I hope its all sterilized...

Went to Chilis yesterday and had a medium done 'Cajun Ribeye Steak' with a garden lemonade and it blended well. I always loved the steak at Chilis, I don't know why....and the smoked vegetables are so delicious....Sigh ! I want them again...

I got shit loads of assignments and I'm really not sure how I'm going to complete them all but I'll try my best....

A place I love, not so much, but I still love it...Thank god its in my area...

My desk set up, I still WANT A BIGGER DESK T_T !!

The Memorial....

The first memorial service I've ever been to...I never thought I would have to attend my friend's memorial...It took place in the place called 'The shelter', which many people thought to be, an animal shelter....But it turned out to be a really nice and peaceful place.

Then again people say...Thats life right ? NO....Not when the person who passed away has impacted your life. Yes ! Harshini Poonja, IMPACTED MY LIFE.... because of her, I'm become much more happy, bold and stuff.

As scary as it sounds, its almost like she was sent here for this specific reason. ( to help others ),was done with her job, and returned. I don't know if our destiny is controlled by our actions or its already pre-written. If its pre-written then, whats the point of living ? It's like living a tape.

The hard part is , I don't believe in any of this 'God' stuff so it becomes REALLY hard to believe that she's around us and with us. To be an atheist / agnostic and lose a close friends is like saying " Omg ! Goodbye....I will never see you again ".....

Whats this 'safe' place they keep talking about ???? I really want to know, because I know I wont be able to rest until I KNOW that she is really in a safe place....

I don't have guts to watch my own memorial video for Harshi, nope, the song and her face make me get outworldy goosebumps....She was soo cute, kind, loving, caring, humble, funny....
She was soo Harshi.....

I know I have to move on, but Harshi will still be there around lingering in my head and thats good, because that way, I can never forget her...
